About the Patrons' Gallery

The Patrons' Gallery moves proudly into its thirtieth year at Shawnee Mission North, providing a unique location for displaying student and professional works. To the school population, the Gallery is a statement of support and encouragement for artistic endeavor: a comfortable and familiar source of artistic experience for the North community.

The larger community benefits, as well: the Patrons' Gallery hosts tours of the exhibits throughout the school year. Support for the Gallery has enabled:

--a scholarship fund that has benefited some 150 students over the past three decades

--an impressive and growing Permanent Collection of student and professional work , and

--a loan program making the collection freely available to other community agencies and schools..

The invaluable work of the Gallery is funded primarily by the memberships of the supportive patrons and organizations in the community. Please join us today, and lend your support to this very important program.
